Muc-Off is cycling and motorcycling’s care and maintenance household name. The brand was founded in 1994 when Rex and Marylin Trimnell, owner of X-Lite at the time, needed a cleaner they could rely on to keep their bikes clean and corrosion-free.

After designing and manufacturing the world’s first twin crown bicycle fork, Rex created a perfectly pink spray to clean his kit and it wasn’t long before word got out and Muc-Off was born. 25 years later and Muc-Off has developed its product range to include every bike cleaning solution imaginable alongside a huge range of tour-winning lubes, bike protectant sprays and a whole lot more.

With some of the best athletes in the world crash-testing our products and providing valuable feedback to Muc-Off’s team of expert product developers, you can rest assured that your motor is in good hands.

When washing an Ebike do you leave the battery in or take it out please? Been told by the manufacturer to leave it in but are unsure.

And how do you get yours to foam that well mine doesn’t do that with the muc off nano tec spray.

The amount of fluid used, and the overspray is ridiculous… Muc-Off are clearly trying to get customers to use more than they need to. :/

Picked up some of the hcb 1 to use on the ebike. Definitely safe to use on the components like battery pins etc?

I don’t have an eBike but I do use Muc-Off cleaning kit on my motorcycle. It’s always nice to see which products you recommend for the job! 😁👍

Do Not, I repeat DO NOT spray the drivertrain or disc brake cleaner on a hub motor. I thought my hub motor or hub motors in general are waterproofed, this is not the case.

The cleaner that i used stripped all grease off my internal clutch and now i have to pay the price by replacing the clutch.

If you want to clean your drivetrain, i would advice you to cover everything but the part you want to clean, also easier if you take the wheel off and clean it from there.
