From the first person to ride a motorcycle until this very moment, the issue of what to bring along for the ride has been, well, an issue. Saddlebags have allowed riders to up their capacity over the years and with the Oxford P60R and P50R, that selection continues to grow. In hauling along up to 60 liters of, well, whatever it is that you want to bring along (i.e. candy bars, waterproof clothing, gold bars, etc.), the Oxford Saddlebags afford riders the luxury of going further, to more diverse locations, knowing all-the-while that their valuable bring-alongs are secured for the duration of the ride. From the 7-point secure fitting system to the shoulder strap that allows riders to more easily bring the bags along when the motorcycle is parked, the P60R and P50R saddlebags from Oxford are a great way to augment your time (and experiences) on two wheels.

Since I’m riding with a pillion and those 2 straps over the rear seat would be annoying for her, do you reckon I can use all the straps under the seat? Thanks

Zips break around the corners after 5-6 months if these are being used daily and carefully. Probably less if you are not a careful person

Would have liked to have seen more inside the bags and around the bags, and them being fitted, quite a poor review from that perspective IMHO.

They look really good, but about the single zip, does that mean there is no way to lock these bags?

I own a pair of Oxford Sovereign panniers since 1996 & they are still like new & have been used in all sorts of British weathers.

Mmm, that bit about going tying it down below/through the passenger seat. How does that apply fitting it to a Honda NC 750? Keeping in mind the refueling spot on that particular bike?

  14. @AwesomeHairo on February 1, 2025 at 3:45 pm

    How do you install these?

I just got the p50s, fit beautifully on my 97 suzuki bandit. It also came with 2 waterproof bags, fantastic! But how or can I fit them on when they are attached to the bike. I’m not seeing a way

I’m looking to use the Oxford P50R paniers on a Yamaha FZ8-N. Can someone advise if they will fit comfortably on this bike without any risk of hitting the back wheel ?

  26. @simonfranco2917 on February 1, 2025 at 4:04 pm

Can these be mounted on a street naked bike yamaha MT 09?? Do i need some type of rack???

  27. @Teraraki on February 1, 2025 at 4:08 pm

Would anything happen if these ran close to my exhaust? I have a aftermarket can and it hangs quite high, so it may sit close to the exhaust. Could you point me towards something else that may be better suited?

  28. @zzim2853 on February 1, 2025 at 4:08 pm

These bags are the only choice for myself. I pack light weight and like to stay narrow on my adventure rides as Im constantly exploring more challenging routes. I’ve tried a hard box, a soft frame system and the result was for my type of off road exploring these are perfect. Combined with a dry bag top, 35 ltr and my tank bag I have a perfect, light weight, soft, cheap set up for both my 790 adventure and my 350 excf. The expansion zipper has been made much better as, yes, my old bags would sag when expanded, these do not.

Thanks for the review but why is EVERYTHING "going to be"? "They’re going to be constructed….".No, they ARE constructed….annoying as all hell.
