Some people try to make us feel guilty about the environment so that they can take them away from us. And I don’t feel guilty about the environment. I feel guilty for telling people to go electric. But what I didn’t expect was the government at the time to try and ban combustion engine bikes and other transport from the roads by 2050. It’s absolute nonsense this eco bollox and it has gone too far. And I am not doing anything about the environment.
I ride an H2, but would willingly swap it for an ethnic peace bicycle.
What nonsense! You ride a H2, you do it for fun not ecological reasons. You want ‘eco’, okay: walk or use a bicycle. You
As long as a bike has got an engine in it, I am fine. I don’t mind riding a push bike to get fit. Not a problem. But I do prefer an engine in one. And the motorbike was a genius invention too.
All the increased restrictions and de facto bans on more and more motorcycles need to stop. What are we saving this planet for if their precious green paradise becomes a barren wasteland for the rest of us? Motorcycles need to stay as they are, and if anything, those lost ZZR1400s, the Busas, the 600’s, need to be allowed to return.
We cannot replicate the same passion we share for combustion engine bikes. With electric bikes. I want them to stay the way they are. I don’t want bikes to go electric.
All this nagging tech and electronic wizardry on a bike for careless riders plus that piece of a plank that’s supposed to resemble as a seat, I’ll pass. Just grabbed an immaculate ZRX1200R last week to add up on my collection..
The problem I have with Tesla, is they have just done it just to make money. There is no soul or passion involved in the making of them. And it shows. And Tesla have made no money.
If they’re getting rid of the 600+ size bikes for emissions reasons. Do you think bikes like the 350/500cc class of bikes will fill the gap?
Or will our choice end up being starting on a 125cc, then going up to a 1ltr machine?
We don’t want change, we want bikes to stay the way they are. And the eco people won’t change my mind.
Motorbikes and other transport with combustion engines have no detrimental effect on the environment at all.
No bikes shouldn’t be eco friendly. They should be loud, lairy and accelerate like shit off a shovel. Otherwise don’t bother.
